Items to resolve
Latest admissions source review

PT exposure required; required hour minimum needs confirmation. Utah recommends 50 hours in two settings.

The refreshed PTCAS record still has zero required and 50 recommended hours, but a narrative field calls 50 a minimum. Utah’s admissions page explicitly requires PT exposure with no numerical minimum and recommends 50 hours across two settings. The disagreement remains.

Questions still requiring confirmation

Application timing

October 1, 2026: PTCAS Complete PTCAS must show Complete by October 1, 2026, midnight Eastern Time. The profile also lists July 15 priority and August 15 standard review dates. Applicants using Professional Transcript Entry are directed to submit by September 15. Complete is distinct from merely submitted.

A past date remains past; no date is advanced to a future year. Confirm whether the program requires submission, completion, or verification by its deadline.

Observation experience

PT exposure is required. Utah’s admissions page sets no minimum number of hours or settings and recommends 50 hours in at least two settings, with all hours PT-verified in PTCAS. PTCAS numeric fields agree, but its narrative still calls 50 a minimum; confirm the discrepancy.

Tuition and published program costs

New 2026–27 Salt Lake City/St. George tuition estimate PDFs are available, but the resident tuition-column total does not reconcile with the published overall total. Individual tuition components are retained; a reliable full-program tuition total remains unresolved.

Rate period: 2026-2027 rate-based estimates, dated August 20, 2026

  • These are components, not alternative all-in tuition prices. The source resident component totals sum to a different amount than its grand total; no correction or full-program tuition figure invented. Hybrid pricing does not apply to Salt Lake City.
  • The official document page is dated October 15, 2026, but the linked PDF content was not retrievable with the research tool.
  • Do not substitute the university's 2025–26 tuition estimates or assume that a rate applies equally to Salt Lake City, St. George and hybrid pathways.

PTCAS COMBINED PROGRAM COST

In-state
$85,351
Out-of-state
$165,336

Full-program tuition, fees and other program costs combined; not tuition alone or a complete living-cost budget. Reported in cycle 2026-2027; the rate year is not separately specified. Do not substitute this figure for tuition in your budget.
